The event allowed expatriate staff of DSC to see firsthand how UAE nationals traditionally celebrate one of the most important days in the annual calendar of the nation.

In the spirit of National day, DSC offices were decorated with flags and patriotic mementos were worn by the staff.

Commenting on the festivity Mohammed Sharif, a DSC staff member said: “The DSC team showed a great deal of commitment and love to the UAE during the celebration and I was really proud of my team.”

“DSC celebrated National day by decorating the Office with UAE flags and other UAE related decorations. We also had a traditional lunch which instilled a patriotic feeling among all the staff members. The lunch concluded with fun and enjoyment,” said Anuradha Bhingarkar, another staff member.

“The lunch was more than just another celebration in themed clothes and activities. It also focused on the spirit of celebrating the UAE’s achievements and remembering the past leaders. We are progressing so much and I think we should learn from our leaders how to keep this grace and we should believe that we all play a big role in our society and for the good of tomorrow,” said Wassim Yahiya.

“It was a great celebration where all the team members from other nationalities shared their feeling towards UAE as their second country,” added Ohood Bin Hader
